Because of its relatively small size, Woodlawn is sometimes referred to as “south Newport”.

With a population of just 270, it’s part of the greater Northern Kentucky community. While historically it’s been a sleepy bedroom community to its busier nearby neighbors, the completion of I-471 has opened up the possibility of development.
