Gretchen Altman

Gretchen was the perfect person to sell our home. She made sure that we were "guided" through the process without seeming overbearing or forceful. She treated us with dignity and respect and realized how much our home meant to us (we lived there for 38 years). She encouraged us and went to bat for us when people with whom we were dealing (the bank) became a challenge. The last time we sold a home to buy a new one was nearly 40 years ago. Things have definitely changed in real estate since then! I don't know how Gretchen managed to sort through all the rules & regulations, paperwork and legalese, but she did a terrific job and I would recommend her to anyone.

Overall Gretchen did a great job keeping up with all my requests to view houses and being available to help me see them as much as both our schedules allowed. When I couldn't see them personally, she did a phenomenal job of video walkthroughs with very detailed representation of the space and attention to details in the rooms that she knew were important to me. Having had a sample of another agent's video walkthrough, I realized she was spoiling me, and I was so very grateful! She was excellent (and patient!) Once I (finally) found a house- she was available and present for important things like the inspection and even went above and beyond to go searching for some things for the contractors who were there meeting the VA appraisal specifications. She did a great job of communicating with my loan agent and the seller and did a good job of keeping me in the loop. I can tell that this is a very involved job/role and I am so glad that I had Gretchen guiding me through the process!
